Dr Caroline Wewengkang officeFor Dr Caroline Wewengkang the simple pleasures of her work are sometimes the greatest. She deeply enjoys the time she is able to spend with each of her patients allowing her the opportunity to utilise her comprehensive skills and knowledge to address their individual health concerns. She is dedicated to maintaining the highest of medical standards for anyone who comes under her care.

She has a broad interest in general obstetrics and gynaecology with special interest in laparoscopic and vaginal surgery, colposcopy and management of menstrual disorders, vaginal prolapse and contraception.

After graduating from the University of Sydney with honours, Dr Wewengkang continued her training in tertiary and regional hospitals across NSW and Queensland. She gained fellowship from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2014. Since gaining her fellowship she has been employed by Queensland Health as a staff specialist at Caboolture Public Hospital and joined Northside Gynaecology in October 2016.

She is interested in and actively involved with the ongoing education of medical students, junior doctors and other colleagues.

In her spare time, Dr Wewengkang loves spending time with her partner and two young children. She is fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and enjoys travel, going out for dinner and shopping.
