Dr Liana Tanda was passionate about her patients and about sharing her knowledge with them. She believed in the concept that having a healthy body can have a significant positive impact on your lifestyle. She also stood by the belief that everyone in the community should be able to have access to a high quality of compassionate service regardless of their circumstances.

Dr Tanda had a great interest in all areas of gynaecology with a particular interest in operative laparoscopy, colposcopy and management of vulval disorders, contraception and menopause. For over 20 years, she worked for Queensland Health in a variety of centres including rural and tertiary hospitals along with working part-time as a Staff Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Caboolture Hospital.

Dr Tanda joined the team at Northside Gynaecology in November 2014 to extend her private practice work.  She worked at Northside Gynaecology and Caboolture Hospital consulting, along with operating at North West Private Hospital.

Dr Tanda was committed to always providing the highest standard of care, combined with her warm and gentle manner. She also has an active involvement in the training of Registrars, RMOS and medical students in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Outside of work, Liana was an avid reader who enjoyed spending quality time with her family and travelling. She was fluent in Italian.
