Dr Liana Tanda joined Northside Gynaecology in November 2014 and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our practice.
Dr Liana Tanda practices on a Wednesday at our Kedron location and operates at the North West Private Hospital. Soon she will include operating at North Lakes Day Hospital.
Dr Liana Tanda has special interests in:
- General gynaecology
- Operative laparoscopy
- Menopause
- Colposcopy and management of vulval disorders
- Contraception
- Previous Experience and Training;
Liana is a medical graduate of the University of Queensland and a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. For the past 20 years she has worked for QLD Health in a variety of centres including rural and tertiary hospitals.
Over the past 7 years, Liana is still working as a Staff Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Caboolture Hospital.
Liana has an active involvement in the trainng of Registrars, RMOS and medical students in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
She is Fluent in Italian. She is an avid reader and enjoys spending time with her young family. Current GKR State Karate champion for kumite in her age /belt division.
