As Northside Gynaecology's women's health hub, Her Wellness Clinic provides a holistic approach to the treatment of women's health conditions. It is our vision and mission to provide the best care we can, and to help our patients to enjoy pain free living.
We promote health and wellbeing to Brisbane’s women, we take the time to listen to your needs, to find the source of your discomfort, and deliver a treatment plan that will alleviate your pain, and improve your quality of life.
We are currently able to see patients at our Her Wellness Clinic in Kedron.
MonaLisa Touch and gynaecological consultations and will require a referral from your GP, but you're welcome to come and see our exercise physiologist, and pelvic floor physiotherapist, without the need of a referral.
OUR SERVICES
Gynaecologist
All visitors to the Her Wellness Clinic will have access to our principal gynaecologist, Dr Archna Saraswat.
Dr Saraswat will consult with all new patients, including those visiting for MonaLisa Touch treatments. This will include a physical check-up before the treatment begins.
The purpose of the pelvic floor physiotherapist is to help rehabilitate a women’s pelvic floor muscles following childbirth, surgery, obesity, or following the onset of menopause.
The purpose of the pelvic floor muscles, is to support the uterus, bladder, and bowel. Weak pelvic floor muscles may cause urinary incontinence or a prolapse.
A specialised exercise physiologist is a registered allied health professional who helps with behavioural changes to bring relief from pain or disease.
Following a healthy regime of exercise and lifestyle changes, our specialised exercise physiologist assists in the management of chronic disease, bone health, weight loss, physical and mental health.
All MonaLisa Touch patients have a full consultation with a gynaecologist, before treatment starts. Following the consultation, patients are treated by a fully qualified MonaLisa Touch nurse, allowing for more flexible treatment scheduling, while still getting experienced access to this non-invasive alternative to HRT.
