Our Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist

Yamini Kapoor

Yamini Kapoor is a Senior Women's Health Physiotherapist who manages all areas of pelvic health at our Kedron practice, focusing on pelvic floor physiotherapy. She is studying for her second Masters Degree in pelvic health.

At Her Wellness Clinic, Yamini will aim to help our patients rehabilitate and strengthen their pelvic floor muscles, increasing mobility and reducing lingering pain. These muscles can be compromised and weakened by childbirth, menopause, constipation, or obesity.

Yamini hopes to help her patients feel confident and comfortable through their pelvic health journey. Her gentle and welcoming nature helps provide support and understanding to patients needing to learn new skills and form new habits.

Yamini has completed her studies in physiotherapy in Australia and overseas, taking her to practise physiotherapy in various multi-disciplinary teams across Queensland. She has worked as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist for many years, and has other clinical interests varying from sexual and genital pain, to bladder issues.

Her passion for pelvic health blossomed during her journey as a mother of two children, and is a field she plans to continue working and studying in for many years to come.

When not working or studying, Yamini enjoys reading, cooking, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
