Northside Gynaecology launches Her Wellness Clinic

The early stages of 2022 had its ups-and-downs, as we were juggling with the uncertainty of Covid-19, but with Spring fully sprung, the year is starting to go into full bloom, and fulfil its promise as a year to remember.

Not only do we have a wonderful new practice manager, but we are on the verge of something that will benefit the women of Brisbane.

Northside Gynaecology is proud to announce the launch of our new women’s health hub, called Her Wellness Clinic.

Targeting women as they journey through menopause, Her Wellness Clinic will be a special care clinic dealing with a wide range of menopause related conditions, including prolapse, urinary incontinence, and vaginal atrophy.

The Her Wellness Clinic will give patients access to an all-female team of gynaecologists, a physiotherapist, an MLT nurse, and an exercise physiologist, all fully and professionally coordinated by Sylvia.

The clinic will make it easier and more accessible for women to receive specialised treatments. You will still be seen by our gynaecologists, but we now have a fully qualified MLT nurse available to deliver MonaLisa Touch treatments.

Instructions and guidance for pelvic floor exercises will be courtesy of the physiotherapist and exercise physiologist, helping patients dealing with prolapse and urinary incontinence.

Northside Gynaecology will still be a full service, all-female gynaecology practice, but we will make it easier for patients in Brisbane and the northern suburbs to receive quicker, and better care.

Northside Gynaecology is conveniently located on Gympie Road, just north of the Brisbane CBD, and close to the Chermside shopping centre. Our patients come from all across Brisbane, and as far afield as the Sunshine and Gold Coasts.
